Porch this year, June, 2020
We live most of our live in the spring, summer and fall on this wonderful long porch. It gets filled with annuals, potted vegetable plants and my collection of houseplants, which includes succulents and cacti. The early spring is always difficult with keeping the tender houseplants happy for it will go below 50 degrees on some evenings. Tonight will be one of those cold nights where the temperature will reach 42 degrees. I will wrestle with the idea of lugging in perhaps the Monstera, Ficus, Sansevieria, Peperomia and Maranta plant types. We shall see for they are now quite large and weigh a ton. I have not added the Hoyas to the porch collection for this reason but, I may just bring in the Staghorn Fern and all of the Philodendron family.
