My Love of Sunflowers

Sunflower Study
I love sunflowers! Not is it only the colors but, also the repetition of the seeds in a wonderful interlocking pattern.
Wouldn't it be fun to try and capture that placement with beads ;)

Spring in the Garden...........

Easter was a lovely start to Spring with my girls. I had friends and family in for a beautiful day that we could spend outside on my newly cleaned/arranged screen porch. We live here for most of the summer which, by the by, seems to have started sooner than our norm this year.

lingering bit of summer

My youngest plucked this for me almost 3 weeks back on one of our walks through the neighborhood.
long lived daisy
With this little bit of summer and the in house lady bugs it makes the upcoming Winter a tad more doable.

Bird's nest move

I wondered where my porch robin moved to this year. She went only a few feet away in the Hydrangea Tree.
